The Origin Line
The Origin line is where the architecture began — and where it remains, in concentrated form. Two variants share one engineering thesis: every parameter of the moving-coil driver that contributes to non-linearity, measured directly during operation, corrected per-driver in real time, on the same FPGA platform that runs through the entire Excité line.
The Origin Compact is the smallest expression. The Origin is the larger one. Both are under active engineering; we will publish full specifications and ship dates as each design is locked.
One thesis, expressed twice
Both variants are built on a single conviction: that distortion is a measurement problem before it is a perceptual one, and that direct measurement is what makes correction tractable. Both share the same FPGA correction platform, the same per-driver amplification, the same linear-phase FIR crossover, and the same direct measurement of every driver non-linearity that meaningfully contributes to harmonic and intermodulation distortion.
What changes between Compact and Origin is scale. The Compact is engineered as the smallest complete expression of the architecture — a two-way, sealed standmount sized for rooms that prize precision over presence. The Origin is the same architecture given more enclosure, more cone area, and more bass extension, for rooms that ask for both.
Neither is the architecture compromised. Both are the architecture, made appropriate to their scale.
The architecture distilled — not compromised.
Two scales. One signal path.
Choose the smaller, more concentrated expression, or the larger one. The engineering underneath is the same.
